You will agree that, somewhere inside each of us, there’s a young core, instinctive, creative but also innocent and naive. What would happen if this intimate essence would be completely revealed?
Based on famous saying “there is a child inside all of us” but never actually pictured what such a child would look like. What if that child come back to life? L’ Enfant Extérieur (The Outer Child) showcases this possibility, showing us portraits of adults as little children. This collaborative project was done by Paris-based retoucher Cristian Girotto and photographer Quentin Curtat. The manipulations are accomplished very well. You can see the high-res images here.
