Adventurous Examples of Wildlife Photography (12 Big Cats Pics)

The definition of “big cat” includes the four members of the genus Panthera: the tiger, lion, jaguar, and leopard. Members of this genus are the only cats able to roar. A more expansive definition of “big cat” also includes the cheetah, snow leopard, clouded leopard, and cougar.

Big cats are disappearing very quickly. Many hunters target big cats to fuel a market for illicit products. In this post we showcased adventurous examples of wildlife photography by Carl Stovell who is into photography and a big supporter to save big cats.

Carl Stovell is from the Republic of Geordieland, now living in York, England. He got his first DSLR in the summer of 2009. In the short time he has been taking photos his images featured on theprintspace.co.uk (a pro photo and fine art printing lab) and ccf.org (the international cheetah conservation fund).
